Merging corporate ‘40s and circus in a theatrical whirlwind, Andie Beasley, Roam’s Styling Director and Fashion Show Manager, isn’t just designing—she’s captivating with her pieces in the Ringmaster show.

Fashion has always been personal for Beasley. “I have always loved fashion since I was a kid,” she says. With her mother as her muse, she’s now grown to create her own unique line of fashion, developing her own aesthetic as a balance of elegance and disruption.

For the fashion show, Beasley crafted a total of nine bold pieces, five of which she designed herself and four in collaboration with a New Jersey designer. Making a total of nine pieces was “a lot” for her, but she wanted to push beyond her limits for this show, blending her “militant daily look, that incorporates grunge,” to create her pieces. She also branched out into creating a male piece, inspired by the visual storytelling of “American Horror Story: Freakshow,” which is Beasley’s “favorite TV show.”

The collection's ingenuity is influenced by Vivienne Westwood’s design ethos, especially the principle: “Buy less, choose well, make it last.” Beasley is committed to using overlooked materials, challenging the wastefulness often found in costume-heavy fashion. Her admiration for Westwood’s 2015 Red Label collection—where politics and fashion collided—also shines through in the line’s bold silhouettes and layered textures.

Among all of Beasley’s creations, her proudest remains her red blazer and striped pants, in which her influences really shine through. Although she states that a close second was the corsets created with her idol, Jordan Rappaport, whom Beasley has long looked up to for her unique and captivating sense of creativity.

Despite her passion, Beasley doesn’t plan to pursue fashion design once she graduates this year, although designing for herself will be a flame that never dies—“I love creating things that last.” This is something that shines true throughout all of Beasley’s pieces. Andie Beasley’s Ringmaster collection isn’t just clothing—it’s a performance. Through her contrast of bold ingenuity and elegance, she creates an experience that stands out throughout the show. Although she may not pursue fashion in her future, her time in Rome will certainly leave its mark.
